About Me
Peyton Lawson is a textile artist and designer reimagining traditional textile practices in a modern way. Originally from Tampa, Florida, she draws inspiration from the natural landscape of her home state and the warm nostalgia of vintage aesthetics to create work grounded in authenticity and intention. Inheriting the “creative gene” from her mother, her work explores themes surrounding memory, connection, and the endearing imperfection of handcraft. Combining practices like quilting, cross stitch, and hand embroidery, Peyton is exploring the balance between honoring traditional heirloom textiles and aligning with contemporary influences to create work that is bold, colorful, and made with love.
