Accompanying Stitching Stars is the Flying Home Quilt, created using prints from Stitching Stars. Measuring 58 by 66 inches, this quilt features sawtooth stars and the Arizona state quilt block in a tossed arrangement, a design choice that pays tribute to the state where my grandmother once lived. Moments of hand-stitched embroidery on the surface of the quilt bring sentimental, handwritten notes to life.

Flying Home explores the creation of a contemporary heirloom textile that embodies love, memory, and the generational gift of craft.
